Turning a Corner – The Next Phase for Wallcliffe House

This February sees us take a further step on the journey to reimagine Wallcliffe House.

With the development application approved in April last year, the intervening months have been spent working with our incredible team of architects, interior and landscape designers, heritage experts, builders, engineers and more to further refine the plans for the built form that will bring Wallcliffe House back to life.

Before we can start creating the new, inspired by the old, the remains of the fire-damaged buildings must be removed and that work will commence later in February.

Alongside the deconstruction works, other activities will also commence.  This will mark the move from ‘planning’ to ‘doing’, a major milestone and an exciting phase in this many-layered project.

We have an outstanding team of local tradespeople and crafts that continues to grow and is supported by our lead architects, MJA Studio in Perth.  We are grateful for the significant interest of our local community and look forward to continuing our journey to reimagine this regional icon.
